Handwoven talisman ethnic

Long pendant  from the collection "weaving -rozaria" worked by the technique of micro weaving  with a linear design (8.5cmX6.5cm) with cotton threads in purple-burgundy-orange colors. The cord has semi-presious stones.

I was born and grew up in Athens. Since I was a child  I was embroidering and knitting having a special relationship and love for the colored threads. I studied photography and I worked as a photojournalist. In the early 90s I was first involved with the loom and plant paints, making tapestries  of large dimensions, exhibited in Aegina. In 2006 I began to attend jewelry making seminars (metal), working at the same time.

Two years ago I did weaving lessons. Since then this haw been the technique  I work my jewelery with.

I try to apply this traditional technique in today's way and style. I use natural materials, cotton, linen, silk, and semi-precious stones.
