In my artistic work, I have been researching for almost ten years in the fields of drawing, painting, sculpture, installation, projection, and Led programming. I develop specific works for different media, which are mutually connected, and establish contextual relationships between them.
In all my works of art, I deal intensively with the areas: Art & technology, research & innovation, immersion & contemplation. The basis of all my works is the examination of the long history of drawing, painting, sculpture, and installation on the one hand and modern social changes, technical inventions, and future developments on the other.
My great interest in modern technologies and the almost overpowering development of digital media led to a new confrontation with contemporary art: the fusion of physical form and the digital world.
Our digital experiences are subject to a number of limitations, certain senses such as touch are excluded from the wealth of experience. With my artistic work, I aim to overcome the isolation of the screen and bring the digital into the physical space. For me, contemporary art must be both real and spatially experienceable with the whole body. But at the same time, it has to open the door to an exciting digital world.
